BrowserQuest first became available on 17 Mar 2013. It is estimated that BrowserQuest has been downloaded between 10000 and 50000 times from the Play Store.

BrowserQuest 1.0.1 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an application to broadcast sticky intents. These are broadcasts whose data is held by the system after being finished, so that clients can quickly retrieve that data without having to wait for the next broadcast.

Allows applications to open network sockets.
